The Gray Lady

(1986 Ford Mustang)

This Mustang was found for sale in an obscure Facebook group in April 2018.  The owner had bought it because it didn't run, and had planned to restore it.  That never happened.  It was sat in a desert field for the next 3 years and left to fade away.

We drove up to Redmond, Oregon to winch it onto the trailer and bring it home.  We are going through it piece by piece repairing and replacing parts as needed.  The complete fuel system was cleaned out, the engine was removed and resealed, and the transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO Transmissions in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

The exterior was riddled with surface rust from sitting out in the weather for years.  The rust is currently being removed and the surface prepped for a vinyl wrap with Avery Dennison SW900 Matte Titanium wrap.  The trim parts will be painted with SEM Charcoal Gray trim paint.

The interior will be cleaned and replaced as necessary to ensure a factory restored look.  When the car is complete, it will be listed for sale.  If you are interested in purchasing the car at any point, please send us an email from the contact form.

The car has its own playlist on YouTube to document the process of restoration, and the future owner will understand all work completed.
